Is there parking at the College?

The college is typically unable to offer parking to guests or visitors.

The two closest public car parks are Union St and St Clements, a short walk from campus.

Alternatively, the most cost-effective option is the Redbridge Park and Ride, which has buses that run directly very close to campus:

ST1 Connector – Stops at James St West
X32 Connector & X3 City – stops at St Clement’s.

Please note Oxford’s temporary congestion charge came into effect on Wednesday, 29 October 2025.

Residential students can apply for a parking permit; we are unfortunately unable to guarantee parking for all residents. Please get in touch with the college secretary if you would like to apply for a permit.

St Stephen’s House is an Anglican Theological Foundation offering formation and education for ordained and lay ministry.

The college offers the full range of undergraduate and graduate theological qualifications of the University of Oxford for ordinands, clergy and lay workers. It is also validated by the University of Durham as a Theological Education Institution, offering the Common Award for all suitably qualified applicants
