Dr Stacey Van Dyk

Visiting Tutor

Dr Stacey Van Dyk has spent 20 years at the intersections of ministry, mission, and academia. Her ministry with and for Christian and secular university students led her to pioneering ministries on four continents, as well as contributing to local churches as a lay preacher and teacher, before her interest in early Christian engagement with the Jewish Scriptures led her back into academia as a researcher. She has recently completed her doctorate at Oxford, where she conducted research into the portraits of the patriarchs in John's Gospel. She has been a Visiting Tutor at Pembroke College since 2021 and, most recently, at Regent's Park College. Since completing her doctorate, Stacey has embarked on a new research project examining the imagery of birthing and barrenness in the epistles of St Paul. Stacey currently works at St Peter's Church Wolvercote, where she is pioneering children and families ministry.
