Dr Tyler Brown

J. Tyler Brown is Junior Research Fellow in New Testament Studies at Keble College, University of Oxford. Tyler completed his MPhil and DPhil at Oxford, where his doctoral work examined Jesus’s saying about the “Sign of Jonah” in Luke-Acts and Matthew in the context of Jonah’s wider reception in ancient Judaism and Christianity. His current research focuses on Pauline anthropology as reception of Jewish Scripture, with a view to understanding how the Apostle’s vision of humanity’s renewal negotiates transformation and continuity.
