The Revd Dr Harri Williams SSC

Principal

The Revd Dr Harri Williams SSC joined St Stephen’s House as Principal in Autumn 2025.

Previously Vicar of the Walsingham Benefice in the Diocese of Norwich, Fr Harri brings a rich background in pastoral ministry, academic theology, and spiritual formation. Born in Cardiff and raised in South Wales, he read Modern History at Balliol College, Oxford, where he also served as Sacristan of Pusey House. His doctoral research focused on the campaign against the disestablishment of the Church in Wales. Following ordination, Fr Harri served in parishes in Haverfordwest and Milford Haven before his appointment to Walsingham. He is married to Clare, Head of Schools & Family Learning at Norwich Cathedral.
As Principal, Fr Harri will guide the College into its 150th anniversary, continuing its mission of shaping priests and lay leaders with theological depth, pastoral imagination, and rooted Anglo Catholic Tradition.
